The distinctive design of this cheeky and indomitable bird on items R1 to R4 is our own. Commonly referred to as the "Yukon Turkey" it is a permanent resident of the northern territories. It has a repertoire all it's own. It's gurgling and scolding tones can be heard all year round and many are the tales of its hilarious and often exasperating antics. It is heavily mixed into our native lore and after much emotional and passionate debate it was entrenched in Yukon's make up forever and appointed as our official Territorial bird.
