Yukon artist Jim Robb has been sketching, painting and photographing his way around the Yukon for more than 40 years. His favorite subjects are what he refers to as the colorful five percent of the historical buildings and people of the territory. His art preserves the images of pioneer people and structures that made the Yukon what it is today. Many of his sketches and painting have been published in limited edition prints. The four and two storey log skyscrapers of Whitehorse are a favorite subject with Jim. We have transferred his artistic perception of the structures onto a number of chinaware items which are sold exclusively through our Skyscraper Trading Post which itself is located on the bottom floor of the two storey building. WHITEHORSE, YUKON
The image on the chinaware items is in brown and is permanently kilnfired for lasting quality. The gold trimmed items are not microwavable.
